AMX 0.2 SPECIFICATIONS
The ION 2.0 and ION 0.2 interfaces are designed to install in standard electrical installation ‘J-box’ hardware, a perfect solution for Classrooms, Corporate Meeting rooms and Hotel Banquet rooms.

The AMX0.2CN is a CobraNet® LAN to Analog audio interface (in a convenient 2-gang wall mount package) with embedded DSP based signal processing. The interface is designed to fit commonly available decorative wall plates and backboxes from Leviton (Decora), MK, etc. This feature allows the installer to meet the Interior Designer or Architects requirements for color and finish.

The AMX0.2CN converts 2 channels of incoming CobraNet® data stream into analog audio signals. The XLR outputs have three different peak output sensitivities ...+22dBu (ProAudio), +18dBu (Prosumer) and +12dBu (Consumer and amplifiers). The RCA outputs are -8dBu nominal (+12dBu peak).


The AMX0.2CN internal signal processing provides a 12 channel Automatic microphone Mixer with 4 expansion ports (the AMX0.2CN uses CobraNet® channels for the transfer of Automixer control and audio linker signals). The analog output channels each have HP, LP, 8 band Parametric EQ and a Compressor with a look ahead delay. There is also a single channel, 2 tap delay device (with up to 75mS on each tap) that can be switched into the output channels and/or used for cascading delays through multiple devices (see schematic below).


The ION0.2 (above) has 8 channels of network input feeding an 8x2 mixer and HP, LP filters, an 8 band parametric EQ, and ‘Look Ahead’
Compressor on each of the 2 analog output channels. In addition, a 2-tap, 105mS 2-tap can be connected to the outputs, as well as
cascading multiple ION0.2’s over Cobranet for delays of 210mS, 315mS, 420mS, etc.

• 16 channels of CobraNet® streaming input, selectable from any of 8 bundle receivers.
• Full channel submapping of both transmitters and receivers available.
• 4 channels of CobraNet® streaming output from the 8x8 matrix mixer for device interlinking. Up to 5 devices (4 remote plus local master)
can be interlinked.
• 1 channel of CobraNet® streaming output from the 8x8 matrix mixer for a non-delayed mix to remote devices
• 2 channels of CobraNet® streaming output from the delay (pre local processing) for cascading remote ION0.2 devices for 105mS,
210mS, 315mS, etc delays to ceiling loudspeaker or cluster arrays.
• 1 channel of Automixer master control signal to slave AMX0.2CN devices.
